WELCOME

Elche is the only Spanish city that has three assets listed in the different categories of the Unesco’s World Heritage. In Elche, which has the largest Palm Grove (Palmeral) in Europe, and which hosts every August the sung drama of medieval origin known as “El Misteri,” the Symposium of Clinical Child Psychology, which gave rise to the congress we know today, was held for the first time in 2011. It’s now been 10 years and a lot has changed. What was originally a national gathering has turned into an international congress that reunites us every year, and welcomes congressmen from more than 50 countries with warmth and enthusiasm. Researchers, professionals, and students come together with the common interest of learning, exchanging experiences, catching up, sharing, and being nurtured by Child Psychology. Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Palma de Mallorca, and Oviedo have witnessed these encounters. In 2020, ten years later, we return home. We’re coming back to Elche. This unique city. With the same dedication, with the same enthusiasm.

Friends… here we are, already waiting for you.
