Gloria Garc\u00eda Fern\u00e1ndez is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Oviedo. She is a specialist in the assessment, prevention, and treatment of addictive and eating behaviors. She has been Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology at the Complutense University of Madrid and has combined scientific, academic, and professional work. She has professional experience in welfare devices such as the Hospital Infantil Universitario Ni\u00f1o Jes\u00fas, the Unidad Cl\u00ednica de Docencia e Investigaci\u00f3n de la Universidad Complutense, the ITEM center, and Proyecto Hombre Asturias. She has a degree in Psychology from the Pontifical University of Salamanca, a Master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Oviedo. She has obtained an Erasmus scholarship at the University of Leeds (England), a pre-doctoral fellowship from the Vice-Rectorate for Research at the University of Oviedo, and three mobility grants in research centers in the field of addictions and eating disorders, specifically at the University of Vermont, the University of California San Diego and Monash University in Australia. He has numerous scientific publications in national and international specialized journals and has collaborated in book chapters and guides of professional and teaching interest. He has also participated in numerous national and international congresses and conferences in which several of his scientific papers have received awards.<\/p>\n
