Malaga, Picasso’s hometown, capital of this edition

Malaga is the fifth largest city in Spain in terms of population. Malaga’s coasts are washed by the Mediterranean, while los Montes de Málaga offer a natural barrier that protects it from the cold, giving it a climate with moderate temperatures due to the thermoregulatory influence of the sea.

Malaga’s history spans more than three thousand years. From its Phoenician origins, it is precisely the passage through this land of numerous and varied cultures that has made Malaga the attractive and cosmopolitan destination that it is today.
