The deadline for submitting abstracts (in oral or poster format) has been definitively closed. The scientific committee is evaluating more than 600 proposals submitted during these days. The authors will receive a response on the evaluation of their work by 1st July. The interest for participating in the ICCPCA 2017 has been very high and we cannot wait to get to know all the works received from numerous countries. Thanks for your participation!
The deadline for submitting abstracts to the 3rd International Congress on Clinical and Health Psychology on Children and Adolescents has been extended until June 23. We will accept papers on aspects related to psychopathology, evaluation and psychological treatment in children and youth. They can be presented in the two official languages of the congress (English and Spanish). Abstracts will be published in the book of congress, edited by Pirámide editions, an editorial located in the first quartile in Scholarly Publishers Indicators.
The "Journal of Clinical Psychology with Children and Adolescents" (RPCNA for Revista de Psicología Clínica con Niños y Adolescentes in Spanish) convenes a research award for the best work on evaluation, psychopathology and psychological treatment of children and adolescents or the promotion of psychological well-being for children and their families. Those interested in participating can send their manuscripts, not previously published as an article, in Spanish or English through email@example.com indicating “RPCNA Award 2017” in the subject of your email.
A jury will select the eight best works, nominating one of them as candidate for the best award and the other seven as finalists. The eight papers will be published in a special issue of this journal. The best work will receive an endowment of 1000 euros sponsored by Pirámide Editions. The other finalists will also be awarded a free registration to the 4th International Congress of Clinical and Health Psychology on Children and Adolescents, that will be held in 2018. The resolution will be announced at the closing ceremony of the 3rd International Congress of Clinical and Health Psychology on Children and Adolescents on November 18, 2017 and on the RPCNA website.

Professor Alan Kazdin, a professor at Yale University (USA), has been awarded with the AITANA Research Award in recognition of his contributions in the field of child-juvenile psychology. Kazdin's research has focused mainly on the treatment of aggressive and antisocial behavior in children (both inpatient and outpatient). Dr. Kazdin is the author of more than 750 publications, include 49 books that focus on interventions for children and adolescents, cognitive-behavioral treatment, parenting and child rearing, interpersonal violence, and methodology and research design. He has received several professional awards. These include: the Outstanding Research Contribution by an Individual Award and Lifetime Achievement Awards (Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies), Outstanding Lifetime Contributions to Psychology Award and Distinguished Scientific Award for the Applications of Psychology (American Psychological Association), and the James McKeen Cattell Award (Association for Psychological Science). In 2008, he was president of the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Kazdin will receive the AITANA Research Award during the closing ceremony of the congress that will take place in Seville, on November 18.

Nominees for the below categories will be selected. Prizes for categories are listed below:
- EDICIONES PIRÁMIDE Award for young researcher: In this category, young researchers (PhD students and post-doctoral investigators) under 30 years old may participate.
- Award for the best applied research: professionals involved in child and adolescent psychology may participate. The study must consist of a presentation of a case study or group treatment in any work context.
- Award for the best international research: researchers that work in an academic or research institute located in any country other than Spain may participate.
- Audience Award: The poster most voted by the attendees using digital screens.
