Dra. Inmaculada Gómez Becerra, Catedrática en la Universidad de Almería (Spain), cuenta con 4 sexenios de investigación, 1 sexenio de transferencia y 5 quinquenios docentes (con mención especial de Premio de Excelencia Docente). 

Su labor investigadora se centra en el análisis de los factores de riesgo y protección de problemas psicológicos en la infancia y adolescencia, con énfasis en la educación y regulación emocional y en los estilos educativos parentales; en la intervención con familias desde terapias de tercera generación; y en el papel de las TICs para fomento del bienestar emocional en niños, adolescentes y familias. 

Cuenta con más de 130 publicaciones, más de 170 participaciones en congreso, y 17 proyectos de investigación; ha dirigido 7 tesis doctorales; es revisora de revistas nacionales e internacionales y miembro de diferentes comités científicos. 

Dirige el grupo de investigación “Avances en investigación y epidemiología con infancia, adolescencia y familias”. 

Ha participado y/o coordinado diferentes actividades formativas a profesionales de diferentes campos (educación, psicología, medicina), y ha realizado numerosas escuelas de familias e intervenciones en regulación emocional en adolescentes. 

Posee el título de Psicóloga General Sanitaria y es Terapeuta Familiar en el Centro de Neurorehabilitación Inpaula/Imparables (EBT-Spin off Universidad Almería).

Dr Katarzyna Sitnik-Warchulska, assistant professor at the Institute of Applied Psychology at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. Since 2011 licensed as a clinical psychologist by the Minister of Health, since 2015 also a Provincial Consultant for Clinical Psychology in Silesia Voivodeship on behalf of the Minister of Health, since 2020 licensed as a child and adolescent psychotherapist by the Minister of Health. She is a certified psychotherapist of European Association For Psychotherapy, Specialist in Community Therapy. She is Co-founder of the Systemic Therapy and Psychological Care Centre DIADA for Children, Youth and Their Families in Gliwice, Poland. Director & Lecturer of the post-graduate programs in clinical psychology, as well as child and adolescent psychotherapy.

She is also a member of the State Examination Commission in clinical psychology. She has received years of clinical training in clinical psychology, and psychotherapy (including Systemic Approach Therapy, Integrative Psychotherapy, Play Therapy). Dr Sitnik-Warchulska focuses on biopsychosocial and developmental approaches in psychological diagnosis and treatment. She has over 20 years of diagnosis and psychotherapy experience, working with children, adolescents, and families. Her research interests are related to psychopathology, clinical child and adolescent psychology, therapeutic relations and mental problems in children and adolescents (including self-destructive behaviour, aggression, attachment disorders, ADHD, conjugated developmental disorders), and family factors associated with children's mental health. She is involved in national and international research projects, referring to the functioning of children with emotional and behavioural disorders, and the process of a therapeutic relationship. Her publications are indexed in ERIH, EMBASE, JCR, IC etc. She participates actively in scientific meetings and conferences.
